How much does Innospace cost?

Innospace costs £495 including VAT for the first year and £995 for the second and third year.

What are the opening times?

Innospace is open between 7am-8.45pm Monday-Thursday, 7am-6.30pm Friday and 10am-3.30pm on a Saturday. Entry is via an electronic key fob.

What do you get for the fee?

You get a 1 year licence which grants  you access to the space, desks, broadband (wired or wifi), PCs, meeting rooms, social space and access to over 100 other start-up businesses.

What other support services are available?

Innospace supports a number of other activities designed to assist new businesses. This includes access to free business advice, networking sessions, seminars, master classes and social events to get to know other tenants.

Do I get my own desk?

Innospace operates a hot-desking policy which means that you are not always guaranteed the same desk, although you can hire your own desk for £100 per month. If you’re hot-desking, we endeavour to have a desk available for use for any tenant during the opening hours.

What happens after my first year?

After your first year you have the option to apply for a second year. You will need to be re-interviewed and the fee increases to £995. After the second year, Innospace provides follow-on office space for businesses to grow into.

Do you have meeting rooms available?

We currently have 3 meeting rooms available that seat between 2 and 50 people. They are available free of charge to all members. There is a large networking/event space available for £50+VAT.

How do I connect with other businesses?

Innospace provides you with access to our events, seminars and master classes free of charge. We also provide formal and social networking opportunities. We have an active email mailing list and an emerging buddy system to help you when you first start.

I have another job, can I still start my own business in Innospace?
Innospace is an ideal place for people who have an idea but don’t yet have the revenue streams to support themselves financially. You can run your business around other commitments you have, and don’t need to make the leap to full-time business until you are ready.

Do I have to come in every day?

We expect tenants to be focussed on starting their businesses and commit to use Innospace regularly, if not daily, to truly benefit from their tenancies. Many of our entrepreneurs find that working from Innospace on a daily basis helps them to remain focussed and experience the benefits of Innospace. But we know that people can have other commitments to work around, so will work with you to find the most appropriate pattern of work.

Can I register my Limited Company here?

No. You can trade from Innospace but the address is barred as a registered company address at Companies House.

Can I use Innospace’s address for my business?

Yes. You can use Innospace's prestigious M1 postcode address for your business. We receive mail on your behalf and use a pigeon hole system to allocate it to your company ready for you to collect. If you want us to post it to your home or other address we can do this for a fee. Please ask the team when you start.

What is the recruitment process like?

We don’t need you to have a perfectly written business plan and financial projections for the next five years to come into Innospace. In fact you don’t even need a business plan at all! All you need is business ideas and the motivation and enthusiasm to start your own enterprise. We will support you throughout your 12 months in Innospace by providing you with a personal mentor and business advice to help to grow. If you are interested in joining Innospace then we would encourage you to come and have a look around and a chat with the Innospace team. After that we will invite you to an informal interview where you will need to bring with you one of three items: A business plan or draft plan A short computer presentation about your business or idea A poster presentation about your business or idea

Do you have car parking?

No, but we are 5 minutes walk from Piccadilly Train Station, Picadilly Gardens Bus Station and Chorlton Street Bus Station. There is an NCP car park 2 minutes away and reasonable day rates are available from car parks 10 minutes away.
