BUSINESS START UP BOOT CAMP
Applications are now open for the May/June 2022 Business Start Up Boot Camp programme.
Who is it for: MMU students, graduates and staff with a business idea.
Are you thinking of starting your own business? Do you have an idea that you want to turn into a reality? Do you want to be your own boss?
The Business Start Up Boot Camp covers the building blocks of setting up a successful business and provides support, advice, resources, guidance and mentoring to help you create a commercially viable venture. It is delivered by external facilitators who are all experts in their field.
- Participation in the Boot Camp is an accredited part of the RISE at Manchester Met programme, enabling students to earn RISE Points. More info
- Attendees will receive a certificate from the Institute of Educational Entrepreneurs;
- For international students, who are about to graduate, and wish to start a business in the UK, this is the MMU route to apply for the Start-up visa scheme.
- Attendees can also apply for Santander Universities Entrepreneur Grants. and The Al-Habeeb Innospace Prize - four £400 grants are available for the best idea and pitch.
Starting from 24 May both face to face two day intensive and virtual Boot Camp options are available.
The closing date for applications is midday Wednesday 26 May for the face-to-face Boot Camps and midday Wednesday 1 June for the virtual Boot Camp.
